Technical Detail. This section answers -- succinctly -- the question "what does the technology do?" It describes the salient quality measures (see the Quality Measures Taxonomy) that are influenced by the technology in all situations and describes the tradeoffs that are enabled by the technology. It may also provide some insight into why the technology works and what advances are expected. Since the STR is not a "how-to" manual, no implementation details are provided.
