SATURN 2009 Dates Announced

The SEI Architecture Technology User Network (SATURN) Conference is held every year to bring together experts from around the world to exchange best practices in developing, acquiring, and maintaining software and system architectures. SATURN 2009 will be held May 4-7 in Pittsburgh, PA.

SEI Strengthens Six Sigma and CMMI Portfolio

The Carnegie Mellon Software Engineering Institute (SEI) today announced plans to launch a new Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) and Six Sigma course in December 2008 titled CMMI and Six Sigma: Strategies for Implementation. This latest course will join five existing courses already offered that provide guidance to organizations implementing these two improvement processes.

Fourth Annual SATURN Workshop Attracts International Software Architecture Practitioners

"Over the last 15 years, the SEI has become a sort of mecca for software architecture—a place where anyone who is doing any work related to software architecture must go."

SEI to Host European Conference on Improving Software and Systems Performance

This month, the SEI will host the SEPG Europe 2008 conference in Munich, Germany which will focus on all aspects of performance improvement through process capability, including development, acquisition, the use of multiple models, measurement, management, and high maturity.
