OBJECTIVES
Successful completion of this course will enable participants to
- Understand and explain the differences between CMMI V1.1 and V1.2 (appraisals, model, training)
- Use key concepts and terminology in CMMI models
- Gain a deeper understanding of high maturity concepts
- Be prepared to teach the Introduction to CMMI Version 1.2 course
Course Work This online training allows you to work at your own pace. You may review all the materials at one sitting or you may choose to do this in several different sessions. Please remember that successful completion of the course requires that you review ALL of the material and successfully complete an exam at a designated testing center.
Course Materials Materials provided include only the course slides. A copy of the CMMI for Development model is not provided. You can access this model in two ways:
- the technical report, CMMI for Development, Version 1.2, available on the SEI Web site
- the book, CMMI: Guidelines for Process Integration and Product Improvement, Second Edition, available in bookstores and on the Web
