SEI Certificate in CMMI

Using CMMI, organizations can improve their ability to develop and maintain quality products and services. The SEI Certificate in CMMI guides change agents and managers through the fundamental concepts of CMMI, the relationships among CMMI model components, and the development of an effective process improvement program that incorporates CMMI. Also covered are the IDEAL model (a high-level description of the phases of process improvement) and the use of statistical process control to manage and improve software processes.

Engineers who complete this program will only have to take two additional courses to earn their Certificate in Personal Software Process for CMMI.

Participants must complete the following courses to earn this certificate:

• Introduction to CMMI for Development v1.3
• Mastering Process Improvement
• Intermediate Concepts of CMMI for Development
  (includes test required for successful completion)
• Understanding CMMI High Maturity Practices or Improving Process Performance Using Six Sigma
