The Software Engineering Institute’s CERT Division is the birthplace of cybersecurity. For over 30 years, the CERT Division has partnered with government, industry, law enforcement, and academia to advance the discipline of cybersecurity and improve the security and resilience of computer systems and networks.
In this episode, SEI CTO Tom Longstaff sits down with Matt Butkovic to discuss their careers in the CERT Division. They revisit the cybersecurity landscape of the past, assess the current state of cybersecurity, and examine how the field is evolving to meet emerging and future challenges.
