CSEE&T Opens Nominations Period for Nancy Mead Award for Excellence in Software Engineering Education

May 18, 2017—The Conference on Software Engineering Education and Training (CSEE&T) Steering committee is seeking nominations for the 2017 Nancy Mead Award for Excellence in Software Engineering Education. The award is named in honor of Nancy R. Mead, SEI Fellow and founding CSEE&T Steering Committee Chair. It was created to honor an individual who has demonstrated outstanding contributions to software engineering education and training, as well as to the related area of software engineering professionalism.

The award is presented annually at CSEE&T, which is the foremost meeting for software engineering educators worldwide. The conference will take place November 7-9 in Savannah, Georgia. For information on nominating someone who has made important contributions to software engineering education, contact professor Tim Lethbridge, University of Ottawa, Past CSEE&T Steering Committee Chair, and returning officer for the Nancy Mead Award (tcl@eecs.uottawa.ca).
