Only one type of discount per attendee will apply.
Employees of U.S. government organizations receive a 25% discount on conference registration and courses. Eligibility is confirmed by the use of a valid email address ending in .gov or .mil during the registration process. You must present a government-issued photo ID at check-in to receive your registration materials.
Employees of universities receive a 15% discount on conference registration and courses. Eligibility is confirmed by the use of a valid email address ending in .edu during the registration process. You must present a university-issued ID at check-in to receive your registration materials.
Attendees from any organization that registers three or more people for SATURN receive a 15% discount on conference registration and course fees.
Students at accredited academic institutions receive a 50% discount on conference registration and, subject to availability, registration for courses. To use this discount, you must provide proof of current enrollment with full-time status at an accredited institution, and you must present your student ID at check-in to receive your registration materials.
The full-conference passes included in SATURN sponsorship packages enable organizations that send one or more staff members to SATURN to promote their brands, products, and services for only a small additional cost. For example, the $5,000 Silver level of sponsorship includes three free registrations, a $4,800 value. For only $200 more, the sponsoring organization gets all of the brand-promotion opportunities listed in the tables on the Sponsorship page. Similar savings and opportunities are provided by other sponsorship levels.

By registering, you grant Carnegie Mellon University and/or anyone acting on its behalf (“Carnegie Mellon”) permission to photograph, film, or otherwise record and use your name, likeness, image, voice, and comments and to publish, reproduce, exhibit, distribute, broadcast, edit, and/or digitize the resulting images and materials in publications, advertising materials, or in any other form, and for any purpose without compensation.
We must receive your full payment prior to the conference, or you will be expected to pay on-site in order to attend the conference. Acceptable methods of payment include credit cards, checks, and purchase orders.
We accept MasterCard, Visa, and American Express.
Company or Personal Checks
Your check must be mailed with your registration form. Please make your check payable to SEI/CMU, and write the name of your organization on it. If you submit your registration using the PDF form via fax or mail, your registration will be processed according to the time it is received.
Completed Purchase Orders
Purchase orders are available to organizations and individuals. Please note that a purchase order for multiple conference delegates must be accompanied by a completed registration form for each person. Print out the PDF Registration Form and mail or fax one copy for each registrant with your purchase order. If you submit your registration using a purchase order, it will be processed according to the time that payment is received and confirmed.
Refunds requested in writing by April 17, 2017, will be processed two to four weeks after the conference minus a $75 administrative fee.
No refunds will be given after April 17, 2017. Those who do not cancel by this date and do not attend will not be issued refunds.
Substitute attendees are welcome at no extra charge; please notify us of substitutions at least three weeks prior to the conference so we can prepare registration materials.
