How to Become a Lead Appraiser
The SEI Appraisal Program oversees the quality and consistency of the SEI's process appraisal technology and encourages its effective use. The Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPISM) is designed to provide benchmark quality ratings relative to CMMI models.
SCAMPI Lead AppraisersSM
If you want to improve your organization's process improvement efforts or conduct an appraisal, you can hire a SCAMPI Lead Appraiser or have an individual in your organization trained by the SEI to become a SCAMPI Lead Appraiser. You can view the SCAMPI Lead Appraiser Directory for a list of individuals who have successfully completed all of the technical requirements to become SEI-authorized SCAMPI Lead Appraisers. The table below contains the current release of the CMMI appraisal documents:

SCAMPI Appraisal Results
Appraisal results are tracked to measure the transition of SEI process improvement technologies. To find out more, see the Published Appraisal Results page. You can also view the Maturity Profiles, which demonstrate the use of SEI models and appraisal methods.
Version 1.2 Policy Changes
With the release of the the version 1.2 CMMI Product Suite, several new SCAMPI policies were introduced. The latest policy statement was released on August 1, 2007.
