Version 1.3 of the SCAMPI Method Definition Document (MDD) is now available on the SEI website.
The Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) is designed to provide benchmark quality ratings relative to Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) models, the People CMM, and other similar models. The MDD describes the requirements, activities, and practices associated with the processes that compose the SCAMPI V1.3 method. The MDD also contains precise descriptions of the method’s context, concepts, and architecture.
The CMMI Appraisal Program welcomes feedback from users of the MDD, who are invited to submit comments via the Appraisal Change Request form. The SEI will maintain an MDD errata sheet that may be used to update the MDD on an as-needed basis.
