Overview

Superior Performance Through Process and Workforce Capability

The SEI provides the following process-based performance improvement and measurement technologies:

  • CMMI helps you to meet your organization's business objectives and improve performance.
  • The People CMM helps you to attract, train, deploy, and retain the right people.
  • The Team Software Process (TSP) helps engineering teams to develop software-intensive products effectively.
  • Measurement and Analysis provides the techniques and methods for collecting and analyzing data to improve the performance of your projects, services, and organization.
  • The Accelerated Improvement Method helps you to reduce costs and improve quality and schedule predictability using CMMI, Team Software Process, and Six Sigma.

The Appraisal Program helps you to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of your processes and how consistent your organization's processes are with CMMI and People CMM models.

The SEI sponsors conferences on software and systems process management. The SEPG Conference Series is the benchmark for excellence in acquisition, product and service development, software development, supplier management, and service management. The TSP Symposium is an annual forum for the free exchange of ideas and experiences using the TSP.

Other process-based models to consider using are the Resilience Management Model and Smart Grid Maturity Model.
