Working at the SEI
As the roles of software engineering and information security become increasingly important, the work of the SEI is vital. Because our teams deal with all phases of software development and cybersecurity—from preventing incidents, to detecting threats, to responding to cyberattacks—our work is relevant to current problems and those on the horizon.
A Thriving Environment for Research
As part of Carnegie Mellon University, we have an excellent environment for research. Many staff members serve as, or collaborate with, faculty and researchers at the university.
Diversity and Inclusion
The SEI is committed to the belief that diversity is necessary for achieving success in research and development. We foster a work climate built on mutual respect, appreciation, and understanding and encourage diversity among members of our community.
