Cassie Carricato is acting chief financial officer of the Software Engineering Institute, where she is responsible for finance, contracts, procurement, facilities, and enterprise business systems. She has more than 21 years of experience as a financial professional, with previous experience in the health care and financial services industries.

Since joining the SEI in 2012, Carricato has held various roles in the finance department, starting as a financial analyst and most recently serving as the senior director of finance. During that time, she implemented advanced reporting and budgeting tools, streamlined processes, and enhanced financial review briefings.

Prior to working at the SEI, she was a financial analyst for the Allegheny-Singer Research Institute at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. She earned her bachelor’s degree at Colorado Technical University and her Master of Business Administration at Southern New Hampshire University.
