Become an SEI Partner for Insider Threat

As an SEI Partner for Insider Threat, your organization can license the CERT Insider Threat Vulnerability Assessment tool and sponsor SEI-Authorized Insider Threat Vulnerability Assessors (ITVA) to perform assessments.

The Insider Threat Vulnerability Assessment helps organizations to

  • identify issues impacting their insider threat risk
  • design and implement tactical countermeasures
  • formulate a strategic action plan for long-term risk mitigation

Benefits

Becoming an SEI partner for insider threat is a way to be recognized as a leader in the insider threat space. For federal contractors, this partnership is a way to get the tools they need to implement insider threat programs in compliance with Executive Order 13587, which is required by the latest update to NISPOM.

Assessments conducted by individuals with the Insider Threat Vulnerability Assessor (ITVA) credential can help organizations detect and respond to organizational vulnerabilities using processes based on actual cases and decades of research by the CERT Insider Threat Center in partnership with the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Secret Service, other federal agencies, the intelligence community, private industry, academia, and the vendor community.

Evaluations conducted by individuals with the Insider Threat Program Evaluator (ITPE) credential can help organizations gain a better understanding of the effectiveness of their established insider threat programs using the CERT Insider Threat Program Evaluation methodology.
