Key Responsibilities

Current work focus is building process improvement “how to” guidance for Government and Industrial companies that are working to adopt new process technology and the CMMI Product Suite. Primary focus is on improving the acquisition and outsourcing processes. SEI authorized SCAMPI Lead Appraiser (SCAMPI Lead Appraiser ID No. 0300302-01). SEI authorized instructor of all CMMI model related courses (Introduction to CMMI, Introduction to CMMI-Acquisition Supplement, Introduction to CMMI-Services Supplement, Intermediate Concepts of CMMI, and Instructor Training for candidate instructors of the Introduction to CMMI course). He serves as an observer for the final authorization of candidate instructors of the Introduction to CMMI course.

Professional Background

Prior to joining the SEI, he had more than 25 years experience in systems acquisition, program management, systems integration, and strategic planning. The major systems included: satellite ground support, unmanned vehicle command and control, management information systems, and Command Control and Computer (C3) Systems.
