Abstract
In late October 2019, the SEI convened the first-ever workshop on AI Engineering for Defense and National Security. Bringing together thought leaders in defense and national security, industry, and academia, the workshop laid a foundation for identifying challenges and opportunities for future initiatives. This report identifies recommended areas of focus and describes general discussion topics.
