The SEI's CERT Division is a leader in cybersecurity and partners with government, industry, law enforcement, and academia to improve the security and resilience of computer systems and networks. CERT experts develop advanced methods and technologies to counter large-scale, sophisticated cyber threats, working closely with the Department of Homeland Security to set research goals in areas such as data collection and mining, statistics and trend analysis, computer and network security, incident management, insider threats, and software assurance.
