Malware Distribution Networks

In this research, SEI researchers attempt to graph URL-based malware distribution networks (MDNs) by leveraging the Google and Bing search engines and the Google Safe Browsing (GSB) data set as our primary data source. Graphing MDNs by leveraging search engines and their public services is novel in the field. Other approaches focus on identifying malicious URLs but do not deep-dive into constructing their respective MDN graphs.
