The Monitor October 2010

The October 2010 edition of The Monitor focuses on the work of CERT’s Insider Threat team and its work in helping health-care organizations protect themselves against security risks as electronic health records become a national priority. Another story focuses on Douglas Schmidt and his work to advance the scope and impact of SEI research through his new position as deputy director, research, and chief technology officer of the SEI.
 
This month’s SEI Member feature focuses on Bill Flury and his career in application development, which has included work for the National Security Agency, Office of Naval Intelligence, GE, and RCA.

Another story highlights The Latest Book from the SEI Series in Software Architecture: Documenting Software Architectures, which was written to give users the tools they need to clearly communicate about software and systems architecture.
