Visit the SEI at Booth 817!
The Software Engineering Institute is a leader in researching complex solutions, connecting AI, cyber, and software strategies for maximum impact.
At AFCEA WEST 2026, the SEI will host an exhibit booth 817 and demonstrate one of its newest techniques in state-of-the-art generative artificial intelligence: digital twin creation and 3D modeling. The demonstration is based on research done in the SEI’s project “Transforming Mission Through Volumetric Reconstruction.”
This research empowers organizations to create digital twins of the physical world at the time and point of need by allowing users to create high-fidelity renderings of small and large objects (including vehicles or open scenes) that can be rendered in web-based viewing, 3D prints, or immersive virtual reality. These renderings can then be used for mission rehearsal, rapid planning, maintenance training, and more.
Since 1984, the SEI has been one of only 10 Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDCs) that engineers AI systems for mission-practical capabilities, ensures U.S. cyber dominance and resilience, and deploys software innovations with confidence. Our products are knowledge-based – knowledge we create and capture, apply to your real-world problems, and distribute to the community.
By using our tools, technologies, and practices, your organization can benefit from AI that is reliable, responsible, fair, and transparent; cyber that is secure; and software that is predictable.
We bring innovation to the U.S. government, industry, and academia.
