Jarrett Booz
Software Engineering Institute
Jarrett Booz is a cybersecurity engineer in the CERT Division's Cyber Mission Readiness Directorate at the Carnegie Mellon University Software Engineering Institute, where he has worked since 2018. His work focuses on building secure cloud infrastructure; running large-scale cybersecurity competitions, including the President’s Cup Cybersecurity Competition; and developing interactive training scenarios. Jarrett also serves as an adjunct instructor at Carnegie Mellon’s Information Networking Institute (INI), where he teaches a course on host-based forensics. He holds a master’s degree in information security from the INI and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Towson University.
